so here's my schedule:

ap language and composition

ap chemistry(double period, i already took reg. honors chemistry)

ap world

honors pre calc ( i was thinking about taking ap stat but i want to be a premed student and i heard calculas is important so i want to take ap calc my senior year)

honors spanish

honors health(first semester, ive been trying to escape watching a lady give birth, but i cant escape anymore. lol)

SAT prep (second semester, i want to switch out because its my only non honors or ap class and im afraid it will bring down my GPA)

weighed GPA: 4.3

unweighed: 3.5

the only class im EXTREMELY worried about is honors pre-calc, some of my friends took it last year and they say it is hard. i am aiming for a 4.0 this year. also i am worried about the work load from ap language and of course ap chemistry, chemistry was my favorite class last year but im a little worried about ap chemistry. i have the same teacher i had the whole of last year and i learn a lot in her class but everyone says ap chemistry kicks butt.also ap chem is back to back double period. im not so worried about ap world cause history has always been my best class. any studying tips will be accepted. i tend to procrastinate a lot, any tips about that would be nice. also i play sports all year round so if you have any tips about scheduling my time better. i know i can handle it i just need some tips on how to not lose my mind. lol

Answer:That's pretty good :) I'm a junior too. Though my classes are not like yours, cause we probably have

different school classes requirements. You know what's funny? Even though your taking ALOT of AP classes, My GPA is still higher than yours, in weighted and unweighted :) I'm actually taking Trig this year, and pre-calc. for my senior year. AP chemistry is not heard :P Well for me. It's kinda like the "regular" one (I don't believe that there is such thing as reg. honors chemistry? Unless you mean College Prep Chemistry?). But get a planner, it always help. Like a planner book. And write EVERYTHNG you're gonna do. Like even plan when you're gonna get home, when you're gonna eat dinner, shower, watch tv, do homework, sleep, etc. So if you have a planner, you have something to go by. Don't abandon your schedule, and make sure to balance school with friends. For procrastination, just tell yourself, okay, IF YOU DO THIS NOW, YOU will be rewarded. And then just reward yourself with like an hour of relaxing or going to the mall with friends, and just take a few hours off studying time. For studying tips, for best result, study for 15 mins, take a break for 5 mins, and keep repeating process. And PLEASE use flashcards (those index cards), I know that sounds childish, but seriously, it does help. It's scientifically been proven to improve your test scores. You can also take your flashcards anywhere. Bus stop, dinner, breakfast. I've actually had to "study" with my flashcards while brushing my teeth, cause i had absolutely no time what so ever.

Most importantly, try to "de-stress" yourself. If your feeling stress. Just give yourself a break. If your body is too stress. You could become seriously ill and when you get older, you'll be sick :(

Good luck. Class of 2012 baby!

Answer:Study a little every night and choose certain days to really study certain subjects. Like on Monday Spanish for an hour and all your other classes for 10 mins. Then Tuesday Chem for an hour and all your other classes for 10 mins. Also leave time to study for tests and give yourself breaks as well. Relax, and doing homework will help 100%.

Answer:Probably the worst thing you could do is to be an ambitious procrastinator(like me in 9th grade) If you know you're going to procrastinate and you have sports don't try to pile up extra work. Keep an easy class as your 2nd half semester course(Health=1 semester, and if you feel you need SAT prep its not going to hurt you much since it will still bring up your unweighted which counts for more than your weighted and will raise your SAT score and give you more time for other classes indirectly raising their grades) and get a study hall(drop AP world to self study=less time spent and good score on AP test if you study well… less busy work…though unless you can borrow the AP world book from your school this WILL cost more money since the textbook is like $100 ). Don't try to take too many difficult classes or you'll stretch yourself too thinly=lower grades, and end up regretting it.
