Very unfair

Answer:Our boy Obama could write a book on THAT subject !!

Answer:I think that it is unfair.

Race is not a good indicator of economic status. Why should a minority kid whose parents are doctors get an automatic boost based on skin color? I dont think they should.

We are somewhere around 30 years into affirmative action. That is a generation and a half. It seems to me that it high time to end it. Minorities will be unlikely to agree because they are getting advantages that they did not earn based on the color of their skin.

Answer:I agree with Bryan, but to play devil's advocate, white people also are getting benefits they didn't earn.

Answer:affirmative action is a horrible system. people should be admitted to schools based on merit only. take out the race factor and give applicants numbers only so that ethnic/racial names can't be identified and then pick the best.
