So as long as you receive a 3 on Lang and Comp, you can opt out of an intro Eng course, correct? But, what does a 4 or 5 entail as far as credits go…what are you exempt from taking?
And what about if you receive a 4 or 5 on the Eng Lit AP? Do you get all the benefits as if you received a 4 or 5 on the Lang and Comp as well?
Sorry for all the frantic questions, I am just confused right now because of conflicting things I've heard from classmates and online. I'm also worried because I did receive a 3 on Lang and Comp and I was planning on pursuing a career in communications or something in the writing field.

Answer:Every college treats AP scores differently. I teach AP biology, so I know. Check the policies of the school(s) you are interested in attending. Some schools give full credit, and some don't. It really depends.
