I am definitely taking biology chemistry and physics a level, i would like to take french and possibly psychology too. is this too much? I'm an a/a* student for GCSE currently (awaiting results) and am a* (mocks and january chemistry GCSE is which i got full marks) in the subjects i hope to do (excluding psychology, which is not taught at GCSE at my secondary school) any advice? I want to be a doctor if that helps, anyone done this and can give me experienced advice?

Answer:It seems you have a very high ability. If you're willing to put the work in, you can manage 5 as levels. My older sister did 5, and ended up with A's. I'm still unsure of whether to do 5 or not, everyone I've asked has said different things. She told me, it's not easy, but you must put the work in it. I reckon you should go for it, you'll be the one benifitting from it in future anyway.

Answer:If you're going to take Chemistry, Biology and Physics for A2 level in order to do medicine then I'd consider choosing either French or Psychology as you could overstretch yourself, although devoting a large amount of free time to studies would be good practice for a career in medicine.
